Enrico Nichelatti is a research assistant at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-WIDER.

His work focuses on tax benefit microsimulation models. He is a PhD student at the University of Helsinki in the faculty of Social Sciences and focuses on taxation and social protection in the Sub-Saharan region during the COVID-19 era. 

He has previously worked for the Economic Policy Research Institute, focusing on the analysis of the social and economic impact of COVID-19 in developing countries through microsimulation models. He has a double master¡¯s degree from the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute of Innovation and Technology (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-MERIT) on Public Policy and Human Development.
