Based on their as part of the Managing Exits from Armed Conflict initiative, Jessica Caus and Dr Siobhan O'Neil have been published in based on research findings that climate change is acting as a driver of recruitment into armed groups in North-East Nigeria. A team of researchers recently conducted an extensive survey of community leaders in Borno State as part of the project, which provides some of the first ground-level data on climate-driven involvement with armed actors.
