Yamikani Makwinja is a Doctoral Researcher in the Joint Ph.D. Programme in Integrated Management of Water, Soil, and Waste between Technische Universit?t Dresden and ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-FLORES.
He is working on the topic ¡°Changing land cover patterns in Southern Africa: Drivers and Implications for Regional sustainable development¡±, where his research focuses on assessing drivers and implications of changing land cover patterns on sustainable development transformations in Southern Africa.
Before joining ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-FLORES, Yamikani worked as a Planning Officer and has more than ten years of experience in development planning and management within the fields of natural resources governance and livelihoods.
