The ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Institute for Integrated Management of Material Fluxes and of Resources (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-FLORES) will participate in the Conference of the Parties (COP29) in Baku from 11 to 21 November 2024. The ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-FLORES delegation will take part in various events, including:
15 November: Clean Vehicles: Strengthening National Systems of Innovation for Collaborative RD&D on Climate Technology.
The session is co-organized by IEA, K-eco and ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-FLORES. Daniel Karthe provides input as presenter on Resource Nexus perspectives on the e mobility transition, and he and Tobias Hatzfeld are panel discussants.
20 November: Buildings Climate Momentum: Buildings Breakthrough Milestones, Declaration de Chaillot¡¯s ICBC, and the Road to COP30. Professor Guenther will be presenting.
20 November: Strengthening National Systems of Innovation for Collaborative RD&D on Climate Technology -Professor Guenther will deliver the keynote.
21 November: Pitch on ¡°Building from Waste: Catalyzing Circular Solutions for a Zero-Emission Construction Sector
The ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-FLORES delegation to COP29 will be led by Professor Edeltraud Guenther, Director of ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-FLORES. The team also includes Professor Daniel Karthe, Head of the Research Programme on Resource Nexus for Sustainability Transformations; Dr. Tobias Hatzfeld, Senior Research Associate; Sonja Hanh-Tomer, Executive and Liaison Officer; and Turkan Shamilova, a junior professional who's a national of Azerbaijan.
