Mei Maruyama is a Programme Coordinator for the Global Environment Outreach Center (GEOC) project.
Before joining ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ in 2015, she has led numerous outreach efforts in partnership with a variety of stakeholders, including government entities, UN agencies, civil society organizations, academia and youth. Mei was a secretariat member of the Regional Committee of United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management for Asia and the Pacific (UN-GGIM-AP). She also served as a focal point of the National Geospatial Information Authorities in the Asia Pacific region. In 2018, she was selected as a Young Leader for the German-Japanese Young Leaders Forum and participated in the ¡°Transport and Mobility¡± programme held in Potsdam and Berlin, Germany.
Mei holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
