Applications are now open for the Autumn 2022 session of the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Intensive Core (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IC) Courses. The session will be conducted online from 1¨C29 September 2022.
Every year ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IAS organises these four-week courses in Tokyo, Japan. They are designed to provide analyses of global issues from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. Drawing on research projects undertaken at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IAS and other ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ institutes, the courses provide students with a solid background in the essential theories and multilateral approaches to issues of sustainability and development while emphasising interdisciplinary perspectives.
The courses are unique in their extensive engagement of invited scholars and practitioners as guest lecturers, many of whom are experienced UN professionals, to provide students with insights into relevant policy issues and practical challenges. Although advanced in nature, the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IC courses are open to postgraduate students and professionals in a wide range of fields.
