Tsunakan Journal Examines Ways to Strengthen SDG Finances

The ¡°Global View¡± section of the publication featured an article by ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IAS experts on aligning the SDGs with national budget systems.

In October 2023 the  (GEOC) released a new issue of Tsunakan (Vol. 42), a journal focusing on global partnerships for the environment. GEOC is a joint initiative of ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IAS and the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, which supports activities in various social sectors towards sustainability within and beyond Japan.

The ¡°Global View¡± section of the publication featured an article by ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IAS experts  (Consultant),  (Head of Programme and Administration), and  (Programme Coordinator). Titled ¡°Delivering SDG Commitments: How Can We Strengthen SDG Finances?¡±, the article discusses case studies on the alignment of SDGs with national budget systems. It is based on the findings of a 2022 ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IAS policy brief ¡°¡±.
