On 15 May 2023, ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IAS will organise a symposium in advance of  to raise awareness and deepen understanding of biodiversity issues. This in-person event will be held at the Elizabeth Rose Hall on the 5th floor of the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Headquarters building in Tokyo.
