Rector of ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ and UN Under-Secretary-General Meets Chief Executive of Macao SAR

On February 28, 2025, Prof. Tshilidzi Marwala, Rector of the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ) and Under-Secretary-General of , met with , the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), China. The meeting exchanged views on the exploration of emerging technologies and their applications, as well as potential collaborations to address global challenges and promote sustainable development.

Professor Marwala emphasized ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ¡¯s dedication to harnessing research and innovation to support . He highlighted the significant opportunities for collaboration in areas such as digital technology, environmental sustainability, and international cooperation, and reiterated ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ¡¯s commitment to advancing these efforts through meaningful partnerships.
