On 19 October 2022, the (ProSPER.Net) held its 16th General Assembly and the 23rd Board Meeting engaging over 35 representatives. ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IAS serves as the secretariat for the network.
Shinobu Yume Yamaguchi (Director, ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-IAS) delivered opening remarks followed by a message from Keisuke Midori (Section Chief, Office of Environmental Education, Ministry of the Environment, Japan) ¡ª who spoke on behalf of Leo Kawamura (Director of Office of Environmental Education, Ministry of the Environment, Japan) ¡ª and welcome remarks by Deepak Sharma (ProSPER.Net Board Chair).
Three new members have been added to the network for 2022: Mariano Marcos State University (the Philippines), Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (Japan), and University of Toyama (Japan), bringing the total number of members to 55.
The ProSPER.Net Secretariat provided updates on the network's activities in the past year, including the report ¡®¡¯; the upcoming Leadership Programme 'Shifting to Net Zero: Implementation strategies for net-zero transitions'; and an ongoing joint research project .
